Software Maintenance

LayTOOLS Support

matricus offers a comprehensive support program for users who elect to purchase an annual maintenance package for the products they license. matricus has used LayTOOLS extensively since it was founded in its own IC dev elopment activities and is well qualified to  answer any detailed questions or resolve complex issues concerning installation or operation.

The purchase price of the software (which is provided with a perpetual license) includes the first year's maintenance.

LayTOOLS Maintenance

The initial year’s maintenance is included in the purchase price. Thereafter, the maintenance cost per year is 15% of the listed purchase price at the time of renewal for each module.

A maintenance package may only be purchased for all products owned by the user and the above rate only applies if the period of maintenance is uninterrupted (contiguous).

Maintenance includes full monitoring of the latest product release with bug fixes and at least two major upgrades to the software each year.

LayTOOLS Support/Training

Support in the US on all matters associated with the software is available from matricus from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Central Standard/Central Daylight Time Monday-Friday via e-mail, or telephone.

Support for users in Europe is provided by TexEDA Design GmbH.

Support that requires investigation by the software developer may not provide an immediate answer, however indication of the nature of the issue will generally be provided within 24 hours.
