Design Management

Overview

 There are three classes of tools which provide design management. These are:

•  LayFRAME

a top-level design management tool to manage LayTOOLS applications in Project Mode (Project Mode)

•  DbxMAN

a management tool which allows direct access to layout databases allowing editing of attributes (Point Solution or Project Mode)

•  layMPW

a tools which optimally assembles MPW reticles from die or unrestricted dimensions

•  General Utilities

a set of individual tools that may be used to reformat databases or edit database attributes under command prompt or as part of a batch file

The first can be considered a design management tool whereas the second two are more strictly database management tools
